Showcase Comics & Hobbies had built a loyal local following through Facebook but lacked a dedicated website to showcase their products and grow beyond their physical storefront. Without an online store, customers outside the local area had no convenient way to browse inventory or purchase collectibles, comics, games, and hobby supplies.
We designed and developed a custom website that captures the fun, energetic feel of comic book culture while staying true to the Showcase Comics & Hobbies brand. The new site includes a fully integrated eCommerce platform, allowing customers across Canada to shop online with nationwide shipping or choose convenient local pickup. We also built a custom events calendar that makes it easy for staff to manage and promote card tournaments, board game nights, and other in-store events.
The new website has transformed Showcase Comics & Hobbies from a local Facebook-based business into a retailer with a national reach. By offering online shopping, shipping across Canada, and local pickup, the store has expanded its customer base and increased sales beyond its physical location.
